A historian visits a silent, members-only library where breaking the rules has dark consequences.
The ‘Screamfest’-selected film Silence Is Requested, written and directed by Donna Sherifi, was supported by WhiteBox through the development of its poster and title design. A series of posters were created for a variety of purposes, with WhiteBox working closely with Sherifi to develop the initial concept and art direct the accompanying photography. The library setting provided the central inspiration for the visual identity, with one poster arranging the film’s details like books on a shelf, while the character peeps through the composition, appearing to ‘shh’ the viewer.
